What is osmanthus?

The Osmanthus is a fragrant flower native to East Asia. It’s renowned for its unforgettable sweet fragrance, and for its uses in Chinese medicine – to cure coughs and asthma, improve skin health and detox the body.

Aside from being used as Chinese medicine, it also plays a role in culinary delights and delicate teas! When brewed, the result is a refreshing floral and fragrant tea with hints of pineapple and an apricot-like aroma.

The delicate fragrance of osmanthus flowers is not only pleasing to the senses but also believed to have calming and soothing effects.

Why Osmanthus milk tea?

Sipping on a cup of Osmanthus Milk Tea is a sensory journey – Rich, creamy, and fragrant with bold fruity notes.

The robust and full-bodied nature of black tea, and the smoothness of milk balance the aroma of the flowers perfectly. Meanwhile, the flowers not only help smoothen out black tea’s bitterness, but also lend the drink it’s distinctive fruit-like flavours!

The result? A well-rounded yet layered treat, enjoyed by tea lovers alike!
