Fresh Orange Green Tea

This terrific drink featuring antioxidant-rich green tea and zesty orange is the perfect mocktail to rejuvenate the day!

What you’ll need

– 12g Loose green tea
– 100g orange syrup
– 300ml Hot water (about 70-85℃)
– 300g iced cubes
– 1 slice fresh orange (for garnishing)

How to make

Step 1

Pour 300ml of hot water over green tea leaves in a pitcher; brew for 2-3 minutes. Strain tea leaves and adds ice for rapid cooling.

Step 2

Stir in orange syrup

Step 3

Garnish with an orange slice and serve.

Quick Tip!

When brewing green tea, it’s best to heat the water to a simmer, but not to a boiling point, because the heat from steeping the tea in boiling water can destroy the benefits of catechins.

Home-brewed orange green tea is crisp and cool, with a hint of citrus to get you ready for spring!

Serve as is for a family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, or Mother’s Day drink or spice it up with a shot of rum or Irish whiskey!
